IDEAL CONDITIONS
The location of Danubia Speicherei Ges.m.b.H. at the harbour area in Enns, Upper Austria, provides every prerequisite necessary for an ideal, trimodal trans-shipment centre. Alongside the 300-metre quay wall and by using the two company-owned cranes, ships with goods and commodities of all kinds can be loaded and unloaded. The two cranes (16 and 40 tons) can be moved alongside the quay wall on a crane runway.
RAIL, ROAD WATERWAY
Next to the waterway, our own ÖBB (Austrian railways) siding track to the Westbahn (main Austrian railway connection) located at the company premises and the proximity to A1 Westautobahn (main motorway) provide the perfect transportation connection by rail and lorry.
The annual incoming goods amount to about 350,000 tons, either loose, in big bags or on palettes.
CORE COMPETENCE
Our core competence is the handling of crop, rocks, fertilisers, salt and paper.
Nevertheless, there are hardly any limits to realise individual handling solutions – this is the flexibility that makes us stand out.
